Default RE: Sig Kougar

I have one that has over 500 flights in my hands and is 16 years old. The airplane was totaled three times before I got it. I totaled it once and knocked the tail off another time. It is one-pound overweight, flies great and lands in any kind of wind. When it is too windy for anyone else to fly the Kougar is in the air. It is an intermediate airplane but with the aileron’s reflexed it will fly very slowly and will stall straight ahead. Generally the airplane is sleek and very fast. During some tests with the radar gun I made two no bounce landings at 41 and 42 mph respectively and did not consider them excessively fast. I have bounced it but it was screaming. It will also land about 22 mph. The foam wing probably cannot be broken. The airplane is not a tail dragger.
