Hey Scott, I live just a block off Lk.Washington, up from Andrews Bay. I mostly run my rc boats, 57" catamaran and a deep vee in the bay. Getting close to 50 mph off my v hull. In the winter, between storms, the bay gets like glass and no water weeds to foul the rudders. Thats when it's ideal for float flies. There is a group I sometimes run into that meets regularly on Saturdays and flies in the bay. So how far you live from there? Perhaps we can meet sometime and exchange ideas. Would like to see your set up.
