Default Strange Servo Behavior

I'm trying to get a new Funtana 40 to fly reliably, however I've run into an odd servo problem, at least I think it's a servo problem, perhaps someone else has seen this before.

The behavior is this....at the limits of range testing the radio equipment, everything is stable except that when I activate the rudder, the aileron's will twitch. Doesn't happen up close. Additional info, rudder and elevator servos in rear of fuse, both Hitec 85MG's, aileron servos both Hitec 605BB's, receiver Hitec 555 (has been swapped out, no change) transmitter is Futaba 8UAF. Battery is a new 5 cell NiMh. Like I said, this is what happens on the ground, however, the last time I flew the plane, it really had some strange behavior, and I'm lucky to have landed it safely. So I swapped out the receiver, but I don't think I fixed it. I've also checked for any mixes I might not have known I had, but found nothing.

Anybody seen this type of thing before?

Thanks,

Sotos
