I'd estimate that this ocurrs somewhere between 75' and 100'. Also, we were comparing transmitters at my field the other day, with the 8UAF, the antenna goes completely inside the transmitter, nothing but a button sticking out, a buddy's older Futaba only collapsed down to the last segment, leaving at least 6" of antenna still exposed. That's gotta mnake a difference.
