I the First thing I tell an owner of a plane before I do the maiden flight on it is, That I will not be responible for anything that happens to the plane. In your case you never really had full control because thrust vectoring is a poor way to direct an aircraft in flight. Just be glad it was a toy and not some scale bird that someone spent alot of time and money on. All planes have an invisible expiration date on them. some are like milk and don't last very long less than a week and some are like tabasco sauce they stay hot for years.
