Most clubs in the US do not charge for training if you are a club member.

It is considered a good jesture if you give your instructor some kind of gift when you are finished with your training. It is not mandatory but usually well recieved. I gave mine a gift certificate to the LHS which he promptly went out and used.

I believe in giving the gift because most instructors usually go above and beyond
