I my self have deleted posts that could have gone either way, I believe all the mods try to moderate with as much hands off as possible, but we do make mistakes. We have in place now a method where if you believe your post was moderated unjustly, a email or PM to one of the senior Mods will get your post reviewed, and restored if found in your favor. We try very hard to be fair, and thats all we can do.

All Mods do this for free,we do not get paid. We use or spare time to help.
We are human.
And we all get hot headed sometimes, and say the wrong or do the wrong things
But one thing I must say we love our Hobby
