Actually 6 volts will lessen your flight time. You use more battery at higher voltages. As suggested with digitals you just need a bigger battery. An 1100 would be just fine. As an aside some digital servo's cannot be run on 6 volts. 6 volts is a good idea with standard servo's where more speed and power is needed.

I will also say ditto on the Tiger II. I have one and it is a fantastic flier. The 4*40 would be another choice. And so would the Sig Midstar 40. I have one and it is a sweet flying bird.
