the advantage & disadvantage of tall & wide fusalage for f3a models:
- for f3a fai pattern (p-05) you need to fly constant speed such as: same speed for straight flight ( half throttle) , same speed for vertical and diving flights too.. for dive figures you need much wide and tall fusalage which makes more drag and gives you constant speed... but of course you need a good power setup for verticals too

- for 8 point roll , slow rolls etc. wide fusalage needs much less correction with rudder input because fusalage sides wide enough for lift too ( like a small wing) .... I also have hydeout plane which I flew for my local compatiton here for long years - have much less wide & tall fusalage , when you compare with impulse... for rolls and dive flight its not comfortable and slow like impulse..
- if you check last european and world contest most of the top pilots flies with much wider fusalages for these reasons too...
