Oscar, I haven't flown that combination but I think you'll find it has plenty of power for hovering and IMAC flying. I have a Midwest Extra with a Brison 52cc engine and it has unlimited performance. You can see a video of it on my website. Some guys replace a lot of the wood in the Midwest kits with Balsa, or route out the lightening holes to lighten the ply parts. When I built my Extra all I did was replace the spruce stringers with balsa, saved a few ounces doing that. Overall my plane turned out pretty light and I'm very happy with its performance.
