Do you mean the dowels? If you are, on my 60 i just put a strip of covering between the dowels and then covered the top and bottom of the wing, if theres a little wood showing near the dowels is ok that parts gonna be inside the fuse or you can patch it up with scraps. When I cover I like to use trial and error.
