Real Flight, hm-m-m.
Taught me to how to spin, taught me to fly Knife Edge, helped me clean up my Immelmans, Split S's and Cuban Eights. All without risk to my planes, while sitting in my warm house during rainy days.
I've read a LOT of accounts here on RCU about new guys practicing on Real Flight for a number of hours, then going out to the field for their first "Buddy Box" lessons, and soloing after two or three flights. Instead of 20 or more.
I'd say it's worth having, and a very thoughtful gift.
