nitro, there`s something else you can tell your Dad. With full scale sims, generally the first time pilots fly the actual aircraft they`re training on is with passengers on board. The fidelity of simulators is that good, and after 40 hours flying the sim, the pilot is proficient on the aircraft.

Real Flight is about as good as that for model flying, minus the passengers of course.
