Default RE: Nitro Evader or RC10GT

eh.. ill have to disagree
the Evader was my first and only nitro car (as of now... i also have an electric traxxas stampede), so keep in mind ive never driven an rc10gt, but id like to say that im about as happy with my evader as one can be. A lot of what people complain about is easily fixable and after some tuning practice, it will be easy to start. Ive fixed the o-ring on my fuel tank, replaced the diff gear with alum+carbide, and bought a better glow starter. Now the car is unbelievable. Ive never broken a single part, other than the diff gear (my fault... it was my first ball diff and it was way too tight). My evader skidded off the road, flew off the shoulder, plumeted about 8 feet, and hit a tree. No damage. Im impressed. lol.... im sure amsterdam will disagree though...ahaha

If i had to decide again, im not sure if id go with an evader.

Its a great car
beastly engine, CVD's, nice chassis, bulletproof design (i dont care what others say about this... just dont abuse it cause its cheap)

but it has some flaws
plastic diff, iffy fuel tank, stock glow starter is bad

if it can fall 8 feet, hit a tree, and not break (which ive done) ... id say it durable
If you can chase squirrels with it (which ive done)... id say its fast

I vote evader.
