3d flying mainly hovering is great practice for throttle mastery. you might want to try a throttle limit assigned to a switch. Also these engines make lots of power in the first 1/3 stick - I use a throttle curve to flatten out this area to keep a linear predictable feel. bottom line is that now throttle is important - you cannot simply hook on a wire and go.
