I agree Mike, I had planned to cut the shaft off just a little out side the the seal to provide a flat mounting surface.

Any idea how powerful these engines are ? It "looks" like the finished product would be heavy, hard to guess. If these won't turn up pretty good RPM's and are boat anchors I won't mess with it. Any thoughts ???
