G2 jets question
JohnVH,
I have the older Realflight and I increased the throttle lag on the simulator to more closely simulate the throttle lag in real life. You have to understand that the engine lag is different depending upon what RPM the engine is running at. For example if you are at idle it can take 5-7 seconds to reach full throttle RPM. (This is also dependant upon turbine brand, and engine) Now if you are at 1/2 throttle lag to full throttle may only be 1-2 seconds and it is not proportional. I think I have seen you post that you have just purchased a P-80 I am pretty sure that the JetCats spool up a little slower than some of the others. (This is just a comment and not a slam as I own a P-120, and several RAMS) you will very quickly become acustomed to the throttle lag and it will becom a non issue.
