Default RE: Kit for beginner

Great Planes make great building kits such as the P.T. (perfect trainer) series I built mine back in
1989 everything interlocked I picked up the wing with out glue and it stayed together. Another Great Planes kit thats a great build for newbies is the Easy Sport 40. If you want a laser cut kit the Sig Somethin Extra is a most awesome kit. The Manual says it can be built as fast as the builder can add C.A. the manual is dead on. I got out of the hobby for almost ten years and the Somethin Extra was the fist kit I built since I got out of the hobby bulding that kit was like I never quit building. But with any kit, just make sure you read and study the contruction manual and plans before you start building. And set up your building table
with all your supplies such as T-pins, the proper glues, razor knife and saw, etc.....
as well as one very IMPORTANT building tool to have is a perfectly flat building surface. And take your time building dont rush it. You may want to wait to have a few kit builds under your belt before going to a war bird or a scale project. Hope this helps.
here a couple of pictures of my Somethin Extra.
