I believe that everybody who is "green" and starting out has someone else more experienced test fly their birds if available.

Just make sure you go over everything a few times before the first flight. Some people do a pre flight checklist.


Personally I never had this happen, have had more experienced flyers test fly it after I flew it a few times to give me a 2nd opinion.

If the bird is yours, you control it.
