I just converted my 46 tonight. It sounds cool. It smells cool. I'm very happy!
Took about an hour to convert it all. I needed to swap the fuel tank and fuel tubing, swap the head, put some fuel in, put on a bigger prop on and put the starter to it.
It started up and idled but smoked a lot at full throttle. I had to lean it out about a half a turn at full throttle. It runs great now! I haven't touched the compression screw. It's probably set from Davis Diesel at the right setting I'm guessing.
Can't wait for saturday morning when I can fly. =)
There'll probably be people telling me I'm forgetting my glow starter when I turn put my starter to it.
