I sealed my hinge gaps using tape. So far, even with the linkages with max throw (least mechanical advantage) is had NO flutter and yes I've used full throttle

I say go for it, it can't do anyharm but it might make a nicer plane. For the alierons use a screwdriver to push the tape inbetween, its a tight fit.
