RE: 60 size float setup?
Senior Kadets MAY be the ultimate floatplane. WHen I make floats for them I make 39" long foam cores (40" finished). As Seaplane said, the SK is so light, it does not need oversize floats. WHite foam floats are MUCH lighter than those GP Built-up "cinderblocks". I have seen guys fly SKs from water with .45 2-stroke, .60 2S, up to .91 4-stroke. It works to flatten the wing a bit, and to increase the size of the ailerons.
