Shahid couple of tips you may find useful. use a sharp blade to cut fuel pipe ratherthan shears or scissors as it helps to prevent splitting, and a loop of fibre reinforced adhesive tape around the tank forming a tab at the back gives you somrthing to grab when trying to extract tank.
