Default RE: Thinking about a CG Ultimate 10-300....

You would love this plane. It's a big p$$$y cat when you want it to be and then turn up the throws and hang on.

Mine has a YS110FZ turning an APC 16x6 on YS20/20 Wildcat fuel) and half throttle takeoffs are the norm with a run of about 50 feet. Full throttle takeoffs are in the order of about 10 feet. Use Cool Power 30% heli fule at 30/22 and [X(]

Mine has some small mods on it. CG is right on the book requirements.

Dual elevator servos under the elevators
Stock Tank moved to the CG.
Pull-Pull for the rudder

All hardware is Dubro (ball links, control horns).

Inverted flat spins on high rates are great and nice and flat. I enter them from a blender using no power and will lose alt. slowly but start adding power and it will level off and add more power and it will climb in the spin.

Lomcaveks (Spelling may be incorrect) are a sight to see. Climb at 45 dregrees and roll to a knife edge, then snap roll to the opposite side of the KE 1 1/4 turns and plant to sticks in the corners (full throttle, rudder opposite of the entry to knife edge and aileron oppsite of rudder) and hang on. Mine will kick the tail around about 4 times (flying backwards ) and depending on which way I did it the opposite wing tip will stall and then it turns violent from there . Hang onto it and it will transition into a knife edge spin BUT just releasing the controls will not work, you must go to idle and add opposite rudder to stop the spin and then fly out.

Of course you want to be up good and high for this. After you are finished and if the wings and engine are still connected, land and check the plane. This is a real wing tester and engine mount tester.

If you do not roll to knife edge and just plant the sticdks in the corners (right rudder, full throttle, left aileron, full up elevator, it will do a normal flat spin all day.

Mine hovers well but my limited hovering skills only allow for a few seconds. Walls, elevators all look good
