RE: flaperons
Here are a few possibilities.
If your plane bounces and then resumes flying for a while then you 1) hit too hard and 2) are carrying too much speed. To fix this you are going to have to reduce your air speed and your descent rate.
If your plane just bounces, but comes back to the ground immediately, then you just hit too hard. Most likely, you flared too high off the ground. In this case, you need to let the plane get closer to the ground before it stalls.
Here's the way I land. This works fairly well for my planes. I keep the airspeed up, but let the airplane sink until I get within a couple feet of the ground, and over the runway. At this point I cut the throttle to idle. Let the plane continue to descend until it's within 3 to 6 inches of the ground. Once it is that close I hold it there and keep feeding in more up elevator. Smooth control inputs are a must at this stage. Put in too much elevator and the plane can baloon to a couple feet. Note, this is one of the places that exponential rates really help, if your radio has them. Continuing to add up elevator slows the plane down and at some point it will stall. Ideally, you want the tires to be just above the ground when it stalls. This will minimize the bounce and even if the plane does bounce a little, it no longer has enough speed to start flying again.
Note, it is also possible to fly the plane onto the ground. I do this when it is windy. To do this you just have to time the descent so the flight path is almost parallel to the ground when the wheels hit. You also have to be sure to let off the elevator, if you put in to much while the plane is still at flying speed, it might go airborne again.
