The twist is a very cool 3D trainer and easy and fun to fly. However, for "normal" aerobatics I think it falls a little short. It doesn't track all that well and knife edge is a mess without lots of careful mixing. So if you want to learn slow rolls, point, rolls, etc, moves that use the rudder, you'll have to spend some time programming before you'll get true inputs. I really like mine, but I bought it for a spare 3D ship. BTW, I broke mine in half too. I was suprised at how easy it was to fix, and how the damage was confined to just the fuse behind the canopy. It's almost like breakaway bolts in that the impact and damage is contained, saving the rest of the plane.
