Default RE: Indoor 3D setup?

The Ikarus shock flyers are absolutely great flyers. I hover around is a 30 by 30 foot room with 15 foot high ceiling. Of course I've hit the walls a few times but sure is fun. Weight probably shouldn't exceed 9 oz. The equipment you have would be too heavy for them I think. If you can get your Edge trimmed so it will hover hands off then you could fly it in a gym. It's all in the trimming. Hold the plane vertical, adjust throttle just enough so it wants to hover and notice which way it pulls. Does it want to start flying away or toward you. Adjust elevator. Does it pull left or right? Adjust rudder. Does it want to torque roll? Adjust ailerons. Then let go and grab it, let go and grab it and trim until it wants to just sit in a hover. In a small space if it starts flying level things happen fast so you want to be able to pull vertical into a hover whenever you want.
