I have the 30". Very good flyer. For the 23" you would want smaller stuff than I'm using. Lots of people use Axi or CD rom motors. Don't know much about them. The new Himax outrunners are very nice, good price, and I'm sure would fly it well. Might be heavier than the Axi or CDrom though.
My brother uses one on his Ikarus Edge and it really goes. He uses 2s 1200 lipos which I think is a little heavy. Maybe he could use smaller ones. He uses Phoenix 25, 10-4.7 prop. His setup weighs about 9 oz.
