Default RE: Fuel Proof Clearcote

Have care when applying LustreKote over Rustoleum. They even advertise LustreKote now as a lacquer. The only Fuel proof Rustoleum I've found so far is gloss white and LustreKote will eat right through it. I won't use Rustoleum primer any more either. I use Krylon on all my sailboats and LustreKote when they are nitro powered. For Airplanes I choose LustreKote primer and paint or Coverite. I have an airboat that is white Rustoleum but had to put all the decorations on with Monokote trim colors because LustreKote ate through the Rustoleum.
