Hi Tim,

I am using a fuel dot and it is center mounted on the bottom of the fueslage. It is silver in color. If you look at the 4 pictures of my plane a few post back you can just see it. You have to look at the photos in large scale to see it.


Just behind the fuel dot I have mounted (black) a dubro glow extension and a JR on/off charging jack. You can just begin to see them in the photos if you look real hard at large scale.

By mounting everything on the bottom you can keep the scale looks unspoiled. My exhaust is mounted enough to the side to keep these switches from getting oiled.

I did have to use the included mounting blocks in order to use the included engine mount. If you had an engine mount with longer mounting rails you could avoid using the mounting blocks. I considered using a GP 1.80 adjustible mount that came with 1/4 scale patty wagstaff. However, I finally decided on using the supplied mount so I could follow the DPM mounting instructions.
