RE: Typhoon 2000 (TEMPEST) modifications thread
I used .007" accent plate from CST, and just thick CA'd it to the balsa. Do it on wax paper and it's tough, light, and lasts forever. Well, about 500 flights and still looks and feels the same as it did the day I built it. it looks cool, but it REALLY adds stiffness and not a lot of weight at all. It does get expensive though. It's something I'd only do if I just happened to have the extra cash. of course, I like a little "bling" to my planes [8D]
