Default Warning Warning Warning

You know, it ain't just 3D. I fly pattern and get the same load of crap from the geriatric bunch.

Well, maybe I don't WANT to fly a WWI bipe 14 mph in a racetrack pattern! If that's all I could do, I think I'd take up stamp collecting, it'd be more exciting.

I'm flying a pattern, which means a turn around back and forth type of flight, at 150 meters out. I constantly get "WHICH WAY YOU FLYIN???" Uh......BOTH ways????? Sheesh.

Ya know, you have to be respectful, but I swear sometimes it doesn't work both ways. I feel like the poster boy for aerobatic public relations sometimes I'm so affable, but these guys test my limits.

What's funny these guys are the same ones that continually crash into the pits, buzz the pilot box (I had to hit the deck this morning because of a stray trainer....not a new guy either) and generally fly on the edge of a stall, and they ain't 3Ding =) had one geezer plant one right over my head on the roof of the pits. had to climb the ladder on my van to get the plane, and sweep Kadet debris off my roof so I could leave.

And yet somehow MY flying is a problem.....

And tomorrow, I'll go, I'll smile, I'll duck when flown at, I'll hop when one runs under my feet, and with any luck I won't even break my line =) What choice do I have? Fields are rare around here. I can work with it or pick another hobby. I like what I'm doing too much, even with all the complaining and dodging stray planes.

And next week I'll take this new G Trick and start learning some freestyle stuff, heh, they ought to love that.

I know some of the guys that fly there post here.....so if you're reading this, you either know what I'm talking about or you're one of them =)
