this seems to be similar to my problem.

(see my post on YS110 plunger)

i thought that it might be flooding... and so i turned the regulator in 1/8 turn at a time and i could never get rid of this problem. i eventually got to the point that the regulatoir was within 1/2 turn of being fully turned in (clockwise) so clearly, something else is wrong besides the setpoint.


i have checked valve clreance - a-ok
valve cover is snug,
cam cover is snug,
air chamber is snug,

there don't seem to be any air leaks and all the fuel lines were replaced as well as the glow plug.

anyway, hope to figure this out for a good learning experience.
