Alex,

The racing class u r interested in is called 424 or APRA...the engine that we all use and the engine that is most used is the Thunder Tiger PRO .40...i have had good luck with these engines...they cost about 80 bux or so depending on where u buy it at...the muffler must me stock...i can help u with the engine..the airfram must be all wood, no composite in the 424 class..

I have been into pylon for a little under a year now, and let me tell u it has eben the greatest thing in RC Flying i have ever done. I have met alot of great people and had alot of great times...There are plenty of people who will help u with anything possible..It would be great if u would come out to the December club race and check it out so u can get the bug planted in u...I just started to fly the 428 and Q-40 racing classes...really fast airplanes and i couldnt of done it without the help of Tony Pacini and Fellow racers of Speedworld...if u check out Torque Roll.com there are alot of us in the Arizona area that get together and talk about racing.
