When Dave B gets two votes for one for Dave M, he's not going to see it as being given one more chance. Any intelligent man will see this 2:1 margin as an endorsement for what he's been doing, and a mandate to continue in the same manner.

I also see it as saddening that the winner in D I got a total of eight votes fewer than the third place candidate in D V. Are there that many fewer members in D I, or is the member apathy that much greater there?
