Default Sloppy Links and Floppy Props

Three Problems:
1. I noticed my elevator surfaces flopping around at certain RPM/
Its not in the servos or the links but the Clevis pins in the hole of the surface control horns...Is their a way to shim this or should I just replace control horns ?? Is their a better type that doesn't wear out ??These are nylon

2. Broke my one and only CF bolly 19x10 prop...My engine loved that prop.and until I can get one I have to fly a zinger.....When you cut a prop down.....You just take 1/2 inch off either end and balance it up ???? Do you think it will be similar in RPMS??wood vs carboon fiber......My engine needs the RPM.......I've tried a 20x8 Zinger (only thing at the hobby store close) but just didn't come on the pipe

3. I have an old 20-6x10 that I'd like to try but the prop bolt hole is too large for my engine...Has any one ever drilled the center out to fit a hardwood dowl size ( Say 3/8) Epoxy a dowel in ..Sand everything flush .....then go back an drill for the correct shaft size ????

I sure miss that prop...................
