Three Problems:
1. I noticed my elevator surfaces flopping around at certain RPM/
Its not in the servos or the links but the Clevis pins in the hole of the surface control horns...Is their a way to shim this or should I just replace control horns ?? Is their a better type that doesn't wear out ??These are nylon
2. Broke my one and only CF bolly 19x10 prop...My engine loved that prop.and until I can get one I have to fly a zinger.....When you cut a prop down.....You just take 1/2 inch off either end and balance it up ???? Do you think it will be similar in RPMS??wood vs carboon fiber......My engine needs the RPM.......I've tried a 20x8 Zinger (only thing at the hobby store close) but just didn't come on the pipe
3. I have an old 20-6x10 that I'd like to try but the prop bolt hole is too large for my engine...Has any one ever drilled the center out to fit a hardwood dowl size ( Say 3/8) Epoxy a dowel in ..Sand everything flush .....then go back an drill for the correct shaft size ????
I sure miss that prop...................

Floppy disks are OK, but floppy surfaces make bad bedfellows. Only knowing the prop size and not the engine, servos or plane, my best guess would be to aquire some aluminum servo arms as used on the 33% and larger models. Sure Link and many others sell quality giant scale accessories to fill your needs.

The prop thing? Rpm and spool up time are considerations to different types of flyers. The CF props are great for flywheel affect etc. and the wood props are good for comin on right now. If all you can get is the wood, keep cutting until you are satisfied. The 20x8 should be tried as is first and take it from there. You may not cut it at all as the pitch just isn't there.
I've never tried the dowel technique. I have turned down aluminum to fit inside a larger prop shaft hole to use in a smaller one though. Your call on that one_bob
