Like Ali, I too inspected the first of Mick's Hunter fuselages at the Abingdon Classic Jets meeting last week. The quality of the moulding matched that of the Lightning I took delivery of - excellent! Plenty of detailing scribed into a super smooth surface.

Mick told me that, now he has the Lightning kit production line up to full speed, he was about to start in earnest with the Hunter and anticipated a kit release date of November(ish) this year. Having said that, Mick did add that this date was subject to the variables and delays that could be caused by the other parts of his business - which I read as meaning that November could be on the optomistic side! Whatever, you can guarantee receipt of a kit that will build into a very good scale model and, in the case of the Hunter, without doubt the finest shape jet that has ever been produced!
