I simply doubled the fuse sides just aft of the wing saddle with lite ply. When you look at the sides, you will notice the lightening holes are quite large and as a result there is not a lot of wood left. Just place a piece of lite ply under the holes and trace the outline of that part of the fuse on the wood. Cut out the wood and glue to the sides. Pretty simple and it does add considerably more strength.
