Hi Ted

If the static port is inside, how accurate are the readings? The interior of the fuselage tends to be in negative pressure which will make it look like your going faster than you are.

Yes you assign a channel. It has allot of channels available. The static sensor is inside the case of the recorder. It also records altitude and rate of climb/decent along with allot of other stuff. I use the unit too. Have two of them.
