I remove my crystal anytime im using AFP, I just pull it out when using the sim and pop it back in when done so i dont lose it. This adds serious time to my charge and supposedly dosent fry the Tx internals by sending signals w/ the ant. down.

Your crystal is on the lower left of the front, should slide right out.
