Hello Mark and Steve, I got the kit from my local shop for about 150.00 , forgot where they got it from ? A US company from down south somewhere ? Will try to find out for ya. On the finish I painted the whole fuse with silver , then white dope on the front section and covered with Monocoat and Ultracoat. Got the decals from Randy in Canada. Still playing with the CG some , not real sure where it balances now with the 61 FS ? Seems to fly a bit nose heavy though. One word of warning :spinnyeye , if you are flying low and slow and dragging it around with the prop thrust and it quits, BAM !! It drops out like a rock ! As most planes will when you have no flying speed , but this one is a bit nastier then most. Would be mighty sweet if one could get it down to about 3 lbs !! It seems to have a fairly high wing loading with that high tapered wing, but it kinda makes up for it with its speed and nimbleness ! Definitly a FUN and challlenging plane and looks great being spanked around low and wild !!
