Profile Seduction
1. Where did it balance out at? from reading other post it should be around 11" from trailing edge Is that right?
Ours was very close to that with the 46, not sure now with the 61 ?
2. the decals did not come with the kit. How much were they and where can I get some. Got them from Randy in Canada for $ 20.00 I think , he is in some of the older seduction post and under the profile section. He is a good guy !
3. Did you support the lower fuse with anything behind the wing? Normally I do because most profiles brake behind the wing and ours did crack there on a hard landing when the eng quit low and slow. But I did not add anything to this one yet. I would install a 1/4 " or so carbon or glass rod into the bottom from way up into the eng doublers all the way back to the tail end. This will allow it to flex a lot without snapping off.
4. what servos did you switch to in wing? I used JR 4131's and they are working great !!
5. and can you open it up and fly it fast if you want. I would NOT open it up or even close while straight and level, only while climbing or in tight manuvers , not even in a large loop or you will propibly blow it apart !!?? None of these type FF / 3D planes are made for speed and most will flutter bad and blow apart due to the large control serfaces and especially the profiles where the whole tail section will move side to side a lot ! I think it would be much safer on the built up one due its structural integrity.
Have FUN with it , they are a BLAST !! Also be careful handling the wing during assembly, the sheeting is very thin and easy to break or crack it ! Take care, Rod & Chris
