been using that site for a long time... and as you can see, I wont be flying today !!!! not with windspeed of 23mph *sigh*
That's not too uncommon around here...we don't let it keep us down, although it does get a little hairy now and then. I flew the day after thanksgiving in what had to be a steady 20 plus with gust to 30! The field was right on top of a hill, and the wind shear on the approach to (uphill?) landing was real exciting. Thanks to the Nacogdoches Aeromodellers for the use of their field...had it all to myself.
