RE: Cowl for 4 star 40
N8, I have been flying a similar airplane called a Starduster by Midwest. Looks like it was designed by the same person. My son is flying a World Models T-34, on a bad day he took out the cowl and the firewall, since rebuilt and flying again. When the new cowl was on the work-bench, I tried the fit on the nose of the Starduster, it slipped right on almost perfect. Only slight modifications to the cheeks of the fuselage would have been necessary for a perfect fit. The cowl was around $25 from World Models in Livermore California.
