So about the Kevlar Pull-Pull on the rudder. Crossing them is a really good idea to get the run as straight as possible. Are you worried about the two "Kevlar Strings" rubbing against each other where they cross?? (it looks like they're running out in the open) Just like anything else, I'd think the friction from them rubbing against each other would weaken them. Being it is only the rudder, you'ld probably not loose the plane if you lost control of that surface....So i guess it's not ultra-critical.
