Default RE: Electric Combat??

If you were to propose a national electric combat class what would you like to see?
I like the idea of a specific wingspan and watt limits.
I would not want to limit to brushed or brushless.
I would want people to get involved with minimal build time and expense.
how about a 30" max wingspan(maybe 34" to include gws warbirds) .
I do like a scale class, but maybe a profile scale or cruciform scale class would be better.
Maybe an open class where any design could be used, with watt and wingspan limits?
I have tried SSC (.15 slimer combat) with electrics, but the durability of himaxx motors was not very good. The mega was very durable, but quite pricey. I don't think it is feasable for electrics to compete with slimers in 'A' 'SSC' or 'B' combat right now due to expense.
