Why is it when advising on which servos for 3D people forget the importance of speed, some high torque servos are VERY slow and hence are not only no good for 3D but dangerous, Rudder yes requires the most torque but also requires the MOST SPEED.
If you do nothing else but buy some fast and torquey servos for rudder only you wont go far wrong (futaba 9404-?).
i guise the same reason people use expo now days even the slowest servos are fast yes its nice to have servos so fast the rudder flex's when you blip it but most of the time when people use ultra fast servos they crank the expo up so a good match between speed and torque is better than having the fastest servos made any servo under .18 seconds is ok to use to me that feels fast enough
