Alot of folk just coming off their Trainer are always wanting to know about a good second airplane. Usually it seems that 50% of the responses come back and recommend the Sig 4*, or in my case I always recommend the Great Planes Super Sportster, but anyway there is usually a small handful of Aircraft mentioned in post like these, and it is the same Planes mentioned over and over with good reason. Now I would NOT suggest for VectorFlight to copy any of these Planes by any means, but a good stable aerobatic low wing VectorFlight aircraft that would appeal to those just comming off their Trainer would be neat. You read a few post now and again about somebody who has just come off his Trainer going right for the VF Edge or Extra because of all the good things they have read about them. Not all, but most of these Planes are going to end up firewood due to the fact that these are not good second airplanes, and just like 90% of us, it is always the airplanes fault when things go bad, and nobody ever likes to just say that they couldn't handle it, or just lost control. So a good low wing Plane designed with ametuer pilot in mind "would be a good thing" as Martha would say.
