Standard gasoline jugs are polyethylene and should be no problem with glow fuel. (Glow fuel jugs are also polyethylene). Be careful about using silicone sealant for fittings as this may react with the fuel. Also, make sure that any rubber seals on the can will hold up to the fuel (may be a rubber o-ring on the cap). Normal rubber doesn't like methanol.
